What it costs
Buyer Protection is free — a courtesy from the platform to our members, included on every order at no cost. The price you see beside the item is the price you pay: nothing is added at checkout.
What it covers
Three things, on every order, with no separate claim to open first.
- Your payment is held and the seller is not paid until the piece is verified and handed over
- A 3-day window to return anything not as described, not authentic, or that never arrived
- A handover arranged directly between you
When the seller gets paid
Once the piece is with you and you accept it, or automatically once the 3-day window closes without a return. Accepting is final — no returns are approved after it, and the payout, minus the platform fee, is released to the seller. If you open a return before accepting, the payout is paused until it is resolved.
What it does not cover
Ordinary wear consistent with the stated condition, a change of mind on fit where the measurements were listed accurately, and items collected in person outside the platform. Buying or paying outside SecondChance Collective removes every protection on this page.
