Start from recent sales, not retail
Retail price is a weak anchor on resale. What matters is what the same model in similar condition has recently sold for. When you list, we show a suggested range built from comparable sales in the catalogue.
What moves the price
- Condition, and honesty about it: an accurately described flaw sells, a hidden one comes back as a return
- Whether you have the box, dust bag and receipt
- Whether the model is current or archival, since some archive pieces are worth more than they cost new
- Hardware wear on bags, and service history on watches
If it is not selling
The average piece in Jordan sells in about 3 days. If yours has sat for a few weeks with views but no offers, the price is usually the reason rather than the photos. A single meaningful reduction works better than several small ones.
